Hey, I retrofitted work lights on my wheel loader (12 volt system), there are 5 LED spotlights installed (4 on top of the cabin and 1 on the swing arm, each 48 watts). Due to a lack of space, I installed a two-stage switch, and now I want that only the headlight on the swing arm goes on at level 1, and all (including the one on the swing arm) at level 2. Now, of course, I can’t just build a bridge between level 1 and 2, because then everything goes on at both levels, i.e. I have to block the flow of current in one direction, but the current must be able to flow in the other direction, now the only solution is I thought of an LED, and in principle it worked quite well, but the LED did not let through enough, which is why the headlight was a bit pale (then it burned out, but doesn’t matter, it still has enough in stock) Now my question, are there alternatives to LEDs that interrupt the flow of current in one direction and also bring the power?

Or maybe some kind of LED that can handle that?

Basic structure: all LEDs in parallel.

Switch 1: Switches the cabin LEDs and the individual.

Switch 2: Switches only the individual.

To do this, the output of switch 2 closes after the output of switch 1 to the individual LED. If you now switch switch 1, all 5 LEDs are supplied with voltage, regardless of switch position 2.

If you switch switch 2, the current flows past switch 1 directly to the individual LED. Hope you can imagine. Otherwise I’ll try to make you a circuit diagram.

Did you learn that? Can you draw what you mean Because according to the explanation it doesn’t work that way.
